Keep Your Eyes On The Hands
Well anyone who knows me knows I’m a huge fan of Polynesian culture, you can never have too many tikis or hula girls…! This is an older piece I gussied up a bit because I hope to have prints made of my tiki paintings at some point… I think the palette on this was influenced by the mid century tropical Turner prints, I love these..! What a great time for illustration..
Every time I look at this, I hear the song ‘Keep Your Eyes On the Hands’, one of my favorite Hawaiian songs so this piece kinda named itself.. So I’m off to make a Mai Tai..!
